Rainbow known the world over. Today, the Rainbow Cleaning System is sold and
enjoyed in over 80 countries around the world.

The World Headquarters of Rexair, LLC is located in Troy, Michigan, USA. It is from here that the sales, marketing and independent worldwide distribution network of the Rainbow Cleaning System is coordinated and administered.
In the Philippines, Rainbow has been sold since 1983 with over 50 dealers nationwide.
The Rainbow SRX is made in Cadillac, Michigan, USA
using only premium U.S. and imported parts. Rexair’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology center utilizes ISO 9001:2015 QMS quality control measures designed to ensure that each and every Rainbow SRX meets our high standards of durability and performance.

John W. Newcombe invented the Separator, which was designed to separate dust and particulates from the atmosphere in industrial operations such as sanding. In early 1926, the Newcombe Separator caught the eye of Leslie H. Green, who felt the Separator could also be used for household applications. Green signed on with Newcombe, and by 192

Green continued to refine the Rexair ® Cleaner, attracting many new investors. In 1935, T. Russ Hill was called in to discuss merchandising possibilities with Green.

By the late 1930s, the “Rexair ® ” was being hailed as more than just a vacuum cleaner. The Rexair’s ability to eliminate air-borne dust in the home made life easier for allergy and hay fever sufferers, and soon medical professionals recognized it as a breakthrough product.

J.V. “Sandy” Sanders saw a demonstration of the “Rexair ®, ” and came to Detroit, Michigan determined to be the “the best salesman the company ever had.” Sanders broke company records and climbed quickly through the ranks.

In 1955, the Rexair ® cleaner was renamed the “Rainbow ® ”. It featured improved airflow, a swivel base and stylish design.
In 1958, Sanders was named President and General Manager of Rexair.
By 1959 manufacturing had moved to Rexair’s own facilities.
By the late 1960’s, increased sales led to the purchase of a 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Cadillac, Michigan.

In 1986, Rexair introduced the Rainbow ® D4 and experienced tremendous growth in
international sales. The result of five years of planning, engineering and testing, the new
Rainbow was considered by J.V. Sanders to be “the best Cleaning System on the face
of the earth.”

In 2001, Paul Vidovich took charge of Rexair, as it’s Chairman, President and CEO. Paul began his career in the direct selling business in 1971, and over the years, became one of Rexair’s largest and most successful independent distributors. His outstanding leadership skills and knowledge have led Rexair to exceptionally high levels of achievement in the U.S. and many International Markets.

In 2019, Rexair announced the launch of the all-
